Pet care experience
I have had experience taking care of dogs for over 2 decades and haven't ever found a dog that I don't love! I'll make sure your pet is walked, fed, and happy when we take care of them. My husband helps with this, and we are both really strong, so bring on the big dogs! We take only one client at a time, since we also have our big guy to walk. I'd be happy to do a meet and greet with you and your pup in our home prior to a confirmed booking, so please reach out! We require this meet and greet for stays longer than 2 nights. Our buds of almost 12 years had a lot of orthopedic problems, including a TPLO, then an amputation on the other rear limb. Our senior guy we inherited was 15.5 (!) when he passed, and our current big ogre is supposedly 2.5, and had an FHO before we adopted him him from the rescue. So we are well acclimated to the special care and time senior, and underdogs require. But we had our first bud as a 6 week old puppy and know what the younger ones need too. He required a LOT of patience, training, and play his entire life, and it was worth every bit of frustration.

Usually our dog does not have overnight stays however I needed someone to take care of our dog for 2 weeks. I looked and looked for the perfect sitter and I found her! Ashley was amazing! She understands dog behaviors and is attentive to our dog's needs. She is fun and energetic and was engaging with our dog. She gave daily updates with pictures which helped put my mind at ease! Her house was clean and safe. She is now my number one go to for dog sitting!
Ashley took amazing care of my 15 year old Cavalier for a week. She sent me daily updates and it’s very clear how much she loves animals. She has experience with senior dogs, giving meds, special care, etc. I’d recommend her to anyone and will absolutely have her care for our dog again.
Ashley was pleasant, and communicative. She asked plenty of questions and somethings I hadn’t even thinking about! Winston was tuckered out when I got home, so this dog mom was super pleased! I will definitely consider her for any rebooking! ?
Ashley is always right on time and takes such good care of Lola. She knows her personality and habits, and we always feel confident leaving her in Ashley’s hands. Highly recommend.

Outside: We have large fully fenced yard (~.25 acres) for your pup to explore and play in. Inside: Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and the bed. They're not allowed to sleep in bed with us at night so if this is going to be a problem, this needs to be disclosed.

Please tell me a little about your pup: -any quirks they might have (separation anxiety/general anxiety, sleep habits, etc) -safety/dietary concerns (will they swallow toys, jump on counters, get an upset stomach from certain foods, etc) -typical daily schedule (wake up time, food times, most energetic times, etc) Also what they absolutely LOVE. Do you allow them on furniture and/or are there rules you'd like enforced? I don't want to disrupt their routines if I can help it.
A typical day
We'll go for one long walk per day, plus bathroom breaks, and yard time. I like to play brain activity games with them using puzzles we have, or ones you provide so that they get adequate mental stimulation as well. So if you're working on training something specific, please let me know so we can use this time to practice that! If they're good in pubilc, I'm happy to take them along to dog friendly places as well.

We both work from home 90% of the time, every dog's dream 😂. He travels occasionally but I'm only out of the house for 6 hours one day per week in those scenarios.
