Hi, I’m Ashley, aka the Doggy Lama!
Pet care experience
I’ve never met a dog that didn’t like me! I have more than 20 years experience caring for my own pups, ranging in age from puppies to senior dogs. My friends and family always rely on me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets when they go out of town because they know how well I get along with dogs. I have experience with basic command training and crate training. I know how to manage escape artists too!

Ashley is, quite simply, THE BEST! She not only kept our cats well fed and happy, but also somehow coaxed our extremely skittish former street kitty into letting her pet and love him. The photos she sent out our minds at ease that our fur babies were well cared for so that we could enjoy our vacation without having to worry. Finally, Ashley paid attention to details like noticing an unfortunate ant invasion and nipping it in the bud before our cats’ food and water were affected. Ashley is caring, attentive, communicative, and professional! Thank you for taking such good care of our babies while we were away!

My dog uses her crate as her safe space, I don’t confine her to it. It’s there if she needs it! That being said, I’m familiar with dogs that are crate trained and those that aren’t. Having a healthy pup is important to me, so I make wet food for her to supplement her kibble. She loves it and so do my family’s dogs! I firmly believe pets are family, so I’ll treat your baby like they’re my own!

A typical day
We’ll go exploring the neighborhood and nearby dog parks, sniffing all the roses and other smells along the way! We’ll play games, and run around, getting out all the energy!

Availability
I’m a teacher and doing summer school for the kiddos, so I’m available starting at 2:30 pm. I’m pretty flexible in the afternoons unless I have a prior commitment.
