My sweet pup that I had for 17 years passed in 2020, since then I've been dog sitting more than ever. I started fostering dogs 10 years ago - all ages, all breeds. Experience with tiny puppies, huge labs, hyper boxers, and stick infatuated pits. Safety is a top priority so I only keep multiple dogs if they already know each other. I do not board cats since I keep so many dogs that would go nuts over the scent, but I do house sitting and drop ins for both cats and dogs. I work from home 3 days a week and live 5 minutes from a 24 hour emergency vet. Just shoot me a message to confirm my availability!

We did a trial run (day care) before our long trip in December to make sure it was a good fit for both parties. We normally only have family or close friends watch Hayley but this time we have to have a sitter right back to back. Me being me, I was SUPER nervous. Ashley is literally so awesome and before I could even say it she wanted to set up a test run beforehand. Ashley watched our 7 year old baby girl today and we’re super happy!! She sent us pictures and kept me updated throughout the day. I’m already very comfortable with leaving Hayley with Ashley for our upcoming trip and I’m beyond thankful for her!
Ashley took such great care of our pup. She took him on a walk and played with him in her backyard and sent me lots of photo updates. He seemed very at ease with her. Highly recommend!

I have a small fully fenced in yard in a quiet low traffic neighborhood. I don't leave pets unattended in the yard or out of fence off-leash at any time.

Let me know if your dog has any aggression or reactivity - food, toy/resource guarding, leash reactivity. If they have any injuries that may present physically but should not be alarming (ex. you know they sometimes limp on front right paw). Anxious with storms, garbage cans, trains, etc. Does your pup like to have the TV or radio on when you're away? Do they like socks or tissues or cords or trash cans? Anything you want me to know!
A typical day
I like to go on daily walks, but if your dog has mobility issues, heat sensitivity, or leash reactivity I have a nice yard to hang out in. Have a basket of guest dog toys and multiple dog beds, but dogs are welcome to cuddle on the couch and sleep in my bed. No furniture restrictions unless you want me to maintain a boundary you keep at home.

Availability
I work from home the majority of the week, with typical personal errands that won't keep me away for more than a few hours. I'm used to having a dog in the house so my schedule really won't need to be modified.
