Hello, fellow animal lovers! My name is Ashley and I have been in the animal caretaking industry for 8 years. I recently moved back to Grand Rapids after living in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for 6 years. While living there I worked as a receptionist at an animal hospital. Prior to living in Idaho I was working as a receptionist at VCA Northeast Cat and Dog Hospital in Grand Rapids. I've been an animal lover since a young age and feel so lucky to have entered this field 8 years ago (started off as a dog bather). I'm always that person who needs to stop and pet every dog I pass on the street and try to save every stray animal. I think with my animal behavior knowledge and genuine care and concern for your pet(s) I would be a great addition to your pet's life :).

Ashley was able to step in for us last minute to watch our dog. She did a great job for us and I plan to use her again in the future! She spent the night at our house and left everything in good order. She took our dog for a couple walks and sent us a picture as well. You can tell she loves animals and she has great experience working in the pet care industry. I recommend Ashley for her services.
Ashley watched our two big pups over this weekend and everything went great. We did a meet and greet before we left– our dogs instantly liked her as did I, and I felt comfortable leaving our home and pets in her hands. While we were out of town, she kept us updated on how things were going with the dogs and even endured an untimely power outage with grace. She left the house tidy and the doggos happy. We'd definitely ask her to help us out again in the future!
You couldn't ask for a more caring or trustworthy dog sitter! Ashley has cared for several of my dogs and they all LOVE her; she is reliable and responsible, even with 'special needs' furry family members, and I completely trust her to stay in my home when I'm out of town. The biggest compliment I can give is that I trust her with my dogs - and she has proven she is completely worthy of that trust.

A typical day
Whether it be a walk to the park, or cuddling on the couch, I can cater to whatever specific needs your pet(s) require. I do not let any pets mingle with other animals though out of safety for your pet.

Availability
I'm currently working full-time, but do have an hr lunch break to let your pet(s) out to go potty mid-day. Otherwise, overnight petsitting is currently the only service I offer.
