Pet care experience
I’m pretty much a pro at all things dog & cat since I grew up rescuing animals. I’ve had pets since I was an infant and I treat them with love and respect. From behavioral training to basic care, I understand what they need. I’ve rescued and/or cared for over 40 dogs, 25 cats, 3 pigs, 2 hamsters, 2 rabbits, 2 snakes, and a mouse. So I guess you can say I speak “pet”, we get each other.

I typically prefer to keep your little fur babies at their home so they’re not stressed out. Their human leaving and being replaced by someone else can sometimes be super stressful. However I’m open to meeting and testing out what works for all of us. I only have one cat, Jack, so I’m happy to see if they get along or not through a screen (for everyone’s protection). We’ll see when we get there.

I don’t have breed preferences. I’m not afraid of any dog based on it’s breed. I’d like to know the dogs disposition and background, any trauma, things to note, triggers, dislikes, likes, allergies, daily routine, any medications or concerns I should look for.
A typical day
We’ll go on hikes on dog friendly trails, city walks on the sidewalk, maybe frolic on a beach or two if Mom and/or Dad is okay with car rides, dog seatbelts and backseats will be a must. I bring a portable dog bowl too for water and snack bag for positive training/reinforcement.

Availability
I work from home as a professional sidekick, so I’m available for early a.m. and p.m. walks, as well checking in around lunch time, I’m also a seasoned house/pet sitter if you’re interested. I bring my own toys and treats for them, unless you’d prefer I don’t.
