I’m Ashley and I love dogs! They are the most faithful of friends and the fact that as an owner, we are at the center of their universe, is one of the greatest things about them! Their love is irreplaceable and so honest! I’m currently an animal care technician and animal behaviorist for the county of Riverside and I’m looking to use my experience and love for animals in the care of the wonderful pets of the community. Growing up, I had dogs of my own and now, as an animal behaviorist and technician for Riverside county animal shelters, I’ve cared for countless animals! Through that work, and as a pet sitter and dog walker, I’ve cared for every dog breed under the sun and also have experience with small, large, and exotic animals! From the smallest; guinea pigs, chinchillas, and rats to the largest; horses, goats, and cows - you can rest assured I have experience to handle any animal in any situation. I am truly fond of all animals and would be happy to provide care for any animal on Rover! In addition to my professional experience with dogs, I have two dogs of my own! Mia is my Corgi and Marilyn is my teacup Chihuahua! I’ve never met a dog I can't handle and definitely pride myself on being patient and understanding.. Having studied animal behavior, I understand how your dog is feeling and I know exactly what to do to help them cope with whatever emotion they are having. When I’m not pet sitting, I love spending my free time at home watching movies or doing home improvement projects. I’ve never met a DIY project I didn’t love! It’s always so fun having an animal companion to spend my time with and they would be welcome to join me in any of my activities or on any of my adventures! I’ve dedicated my entire life to animals and look forward to meeting yours!
