Pet care experience
I don’t have pets of my own so that means I'm a free agent that will be 100% dedicated to your pups and cats when they’re under my care. I don't offer constant care though and will need to come and go for errands. I recently moved near downtown Chandler. Pet sitting is basically a full-time job for me as I spend most of my free time at the client's home. For the most part, I live a pretty laid-back life and really enjoy the time I get to spend with other people's babies. I'm pretty flexible with times and understand that life happens, it does for me too. Keeping me in the loop on travel changes ensures a smooth stay and less stress for everyone. Generally speaking, Rover housesitting covers approximately a 24 hour period where I treat my client’s home as a central hub from where I run errands. I require meet and greets to see how everyone reacts to me in their space and to see where they sleep, eat, potty, play, etc. This does not mean we have a confirmed booking but those details are usually hammered out when we meet. M&G are usually about 20-30 minutes. I've volunteered with AAWL, Lost Dogs AZ, AZBCR, MGR, and Aussie & Friends.

Everyone's safety and happiness is my top priority: I'm a house sitter as much as a pet sitter so your home's safety is just as important to me. Doors are always locked and outside lights are on for safety reasons. If I see packages or mail, they come inside. I don't have a green thumb but I can water plants on a schedule! If there are people that need to stop by, please let me know ahead of time.

I have no breed preferences. I've fostered chihuahuas to pitties. Some things I like to learn ahead of time: What time and day would you like to schedule a meet and greet? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Most of the other things come up during the meet and greet.
A typical day
Due to extreme heat weather in AZ, I can guarantee we'll be in the home about 95% of the day. I'm not afraid to toss a ball, play tug of war, or throw kitty toys around while we're hanging in the house!

My Schedule: On weekdays I have a full-time job (8am-430pm) but I work remotely so I have a portable, flexible setup that requires wifi. For weekdays - right after I'm off the clock I pack my bag and head to the client's home. From there I get the routine feedings, potty, medications, etc out of the way and settle into a relaxing night on the couch. Routines are important so please tell me what a normal day looks like for you so I can keep to the same times. On weekends I'm "home" more often and able to let out/play more.
