Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Ashley and I am 26 years old. My husband & I own our home and just recently moved here from NC. I have over 8 years of experience working with animals. I have worked in a vets office as a receptionist, worked at a dog boarding facility as a kennel attendant, worked in a doggy daycare facility, worked in a grooming shop and recently managed a Pet Resort & Spa. I have also worked alongside a dog trainer so I have basic knowledge in dog training. There is nothing I love more on this earth than dogs and I treat every animal as if it is my own. I have experience with old and sick dogs as well as young and playful puppies. I currently work part time from home with very flexible hours so I am almost always available. Unfortunately at this time I only offer drop-in visits and/or doggy walks. I have 2 large dogs of my own who are spoiled beyond belief. Let me spoil your pups as well!

Ashley is a great pet sitter! She has 2 dogs of her own who she treats with such royalty and you can tell they love her so much. She takes care of my 3 cats, 1 rabbit, and 2 dogs. I am out of town a lot because I am in the army and she has been available last minute and if she cannot be there for my pets then she recommends someone who can! I completely trust her coming into my home and she is a very honest person. I don’t have a fenced in yard so she is required to walk my 2 large and strong dogs and she does great. They definitely get lots of excercie and play time while she is around.
I just met Ashley but she has treated my dogs better than I could have hoped for! My 2 Small yorkies can be hesitant around strangers but must have sensed she was an animal lover because they cane to her right away and gave her all the kisses. We have used her 3 times since she has moved into town. We have her come over and spend an hour playing with our fur babies, feeding them and giving them love. We will never use anyone else!
Ashley is the best dog sitter ever! My dog Buddy loves her so much, she also worked at a doggie daycare facility he went to. She would send me pictures of him and always responded quickly to texts inquiring about my baby. She wouldn't just sit on the couch and watch TV, she actually got in the floor and played with him. She's relocated and we miss her terribly but would hire her in a minute to take care of my boy.
Ashley has been my go-to person for taking care of my dogs for years. She has always done a fantastic job. I have 3 large dogs who can be a lot to handle and she seems to wear them out every time she visits and they love her just as much as they love us. One of my dogs is on medication and will be for the rest if his life so Ashley is very good about giving his medicine on time. He takes his medicine better for her than he does for me! She will get on the floor with my dogs and lay with them and rub their belly’s and just make sure they are always comfortable and happy. She is always sending me picture updates of how they are when I’m away and I appreciate it so much. Whoever Ashley dog sits for are some very lucky people and dogs to have her around!

I do not allow pets that I watch to be outside without a leash and/or fenced in yard. My pups are escape artists so I like to keep a close eye on any furry clients. I love walking and can’t wait to have the opportunity to walk your fur baby!

Information Ashley T. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know your dogs age beforehand so I can adjust the exercise and play time to fit their endurance levels. I do not have any breed preferences. As I’ve said before, I love all dogs. I also need to know any pre-existing health conditions to keep an eye on those. I would love to know certain things that your pet does or does not like so I can win brownie points and stay away from the things that make him/her uncomfortable. Comfort is key!
A typical day
I walk my dogs 2-3 miles per day. I love walking them around our large and quiet neighborhood and letting them explore new smells. I will walk your dog as far as you’d like and I can assure after walking and playing tug of war with me they will be exhausted(: I have experience walking strong dogs and can handle that well.
