First I’d like to start out with saying I’m not perfect as a pet sitter I do my best to meet everyone’s needs but can’t always. Some struggle with their pets going for car rides and beach walks and struggle with my having another job because I can’t just earn a living being a pet sitter as where I live it’s rural and my business often is dependent on tourism which petsitting for me isn’t about money it’s a passion!!! I would do it for free if I could but rover doesn’t allow that and it helps pay my 6 pets bills. Yes I have 6 but I’m not a hoarder and we have a house and they all are rescues who needed us!! I used to work in assisted living now I work helping foster kids and I volunteer at my local animal shelter and foster cats but I keep them secure and I have safe spaces to put cats if dogs don’t like them I even have ways to keep my dogs away from yours of yours struggle with mine. I have a gift for caring for animals as many of my clients have told me I’m friends with a lot of my past clients who have moved away or I moved away from because I am a domestic violence survivor and had to go someplace different for healing and they all say I to this day am the only person they could trust with their babies. I don’t always ask when I take your pets to the beach which is a little far from my house but only because I know you may be hiking and might not have cell service. And I want your dog having as much fun as you!! I ask for clear communication like I’m giving you!! And if I’m working in your home I treat your rules with love and respect I might not always do everything the way you do but I do my best sometimes our body clocks differ as everyone’s different so 4am on Christmas I probably won’t get up that early if you do as I might only be able to get up at 5 or 6am. I love your dogs with all my heart in my home they have freedoms different then your rules in yours I live with the rules though maybe slightly different. Just keep in mind petsitters are substitute teachers of animals. If you can’t then I’m not the best fit!! I do use scents in my home but nontoxic ones and only to keep the fleas out of the home as we live in the forest . My pets haven’t had any in 2 years and all are very healthy!!! I have loved animals since I was a little girl and would rock my grandparents pets in my rocking chair and sing songs as they were getting to rainbow bridge point. I even read to pets and one client busted me doing it once through her pet camera and to this day she tells me how much that meant to her!!! So if you want to choose me I’ll do my best not to let you down and love on your baby like they were my own furbaby!!! We also foster animals which they all are amazing and if they are kittens which often is what we foster we don’t introduce.
