We have continued to use Ashley as our dog sitter and always feel so great about leaving him with her! Very friendly, communicative and cares for him as if he was her own. I truly feel like she and her family love our dog and take such good care of him, and he always has such a great time when he’s there!

Ashley was so great for our dog Poncho! He always hated going to a boarding facility, and for the same price he got way more dedicated time and attention. She took him on walks on their property every day and her kids played with him so much that I doubt he had time to miss us. She sent us updates multiple times a day, alongside photos of him so keep us at ease. Would definitely recommend her to everyone!

We can’t say enough good things about Ashley! We don’t leave Duke very often, but when we do we know he’s in great hands with Ashley and her family. He gets plenty of exercise and he loves when we pull up to her home. I feel most comfortable that he’s not being left in a crate or cage somewhere, but instead he’s being treated like part of her family. Duke really loves children and Ashley’s children fuss all over him. The first time we left Ashley’s, Duke put his head on the rear seat and just watched the family as we pulled away. I really think he was sad leaving them. If you need a good sitter for your pet and you want a really good person, reach out to Ashley. She’s really wonderful! She won’t let you down!!!

Safety, trust & environment

Safety, trust, environment How do you care for pets in your home and/or your client's home? When boarding with me your pup can skip the traditional boarding facilities filled with non-stop barking. I currently have a max of 3 dogs boarding in my home at 1 time. My home is calm and kept neat and tidy to keep your furry family member safe and happy. I always puppy proof my home prior to any boarding. What supplies will be provided during the board? - Crate - I decided to offer this to save wear and tear on my client's crates. - Dog Bed - I am in the process of ordering Kuranda Dog Bed's. This item will depend on your boarding date whether it is available. - Toys - But feel free to bring your pup's favorite! - Waste Bags - Bowls - Treats if allowed - Kennel Cover for dogs who like a cave like feel when crated. (Upon request) What should I provide while boarding my dog? - Food - Treats if on a special diet - Something that smells like home

Information Ashley T. would like to know about your pet

What information is important to know about a dog ahead of time? Please provide me with your pup's current vaccine records. I would also like to know how your dog normally does while boarding. How often are they around children? What is their temperament? Do they get along with other dogs? How often are they around other dogs? Do they have any special requirements? Are they house trained?

A typical day

Describe a typical day What fun activities will you do with the dogs you watch? In the morning your pup will first go on a nice long morning walk. We walk on my property through the trails and fields. After they will normally eat breakfast depending on their required eating schedule. Dogs are always fed separately to ensure they are getting only the food they are provided with and to ensure they are getting proper nutrition. I always update my clients with pictures around 10am to let them know how their pup's previous night went and to share their morning activities. If the older kids are home from school, they normally play and cuddle the dogs after. My youngest daughter who is 4 stays home with me full time. She LOVES to play fetch and tug of war with our boarded doggies. All of our children are used to being around many different types of dogs and personalities. Mid-day your pup will be taken on a short walk to use the bathroom if they haven't told me prior and fed lunch if needed. From mid-day until early evening your pup has to the choice to play or hangout until their long evening walk. If they need to go out in between I am able to accommodate. Sometimes I am able to provide a long afternoon walk as well. I really try to provide this for my higher anxious pups who obviously have a harder time with separation anxiety. Early evening, we will go out for a long walk and then come in for dinner and I will send an update to you. More cuddles and playtime while relaxing with our family. Before bed we always let your dog out to relieve themselves.
