All dogs are my best friend!
Pet care experience
Dog and cats will forever be my favorite small animal companion. The bond you create with these guys are unparalleled to none! All my life I have focused on a way to have a positive impact on the health and life of animals. My passion for animal welfare coupled with my devotion for getting people to understand their own pets better, make me confident I am the perfect person for your pet sitting needs. I am very knowledgeable in animal handing, training and behavior. I’ve been a veterinary nurse for the past eight years and am currently a nurse at a neurology animal hospital in the Miami area at the moment. I have previously worked with an array of exotic critters wrangling Alligators and Red-Tailed Boas at Zoo Atlanta! No matter the size or breed, I would love to show your animals that same excitement when you walk through the door!
Reviews
I took the one bad review with a grain of salt and still booked this sitter considering the other good reviews below it. I was very wrong - the exact same thing happened to me. I paid for house-sitting which is defined as staying overnight with my pet. This did not happen and this was the worst Rover dog sitting experience I’ve ever had. There’s a multitude of things that happened but here’s a summary: - only there for a total of 70 min from fri evening to sun morning (I have a in-home camera that tracked the entire weekend) - never there for more than 20 min at a time (does not even qualify as “drop-in” visits on Rover services) - left my dog alone for 15 hours from sat night to sun - lied about going to check on my dog sun morning at 730 - didn’t stay overnight (not what I paid for or what “house sitting” is considered on Rover services) - brought another person inside without my knowledge (which defeats the entire meet & greet process) - was not there long enough at any point of time for my dog to get comfortable/trusting of her - came home to poop and pee everywhere in my bedroom and not cleaned up (despite being old) It’s unfortunate that my dog was alone for pretty much an entire weekend. I’m still disappointed and in shock that someone can preach about how much they love animals and then not even provide minimum care and basic needs to my dog. This is unacceptable care for any type of animal.
Will not be using again. We came home to a mess with pee and poop everywhere even after being told that everything was fine and just a few messes which she got the majority of, had to spend a couple hours after getting home to clean before even unloading the car. We ended up having to throw away a large living room rug and a few rugs in the house, shampoo the couches, throw away blankets, comforters and pillows. Also on our recordings and by our neighbor no one was really here when I paid for a house sitting not just one drop in visit a day that lasted maybe 10-15 minutes to feed them and “let them out” which never happened.
Ashley was fantastic. She was on time (important since my cat is on insulin) and sweet to my fur babes.
Ashley was amazing! She helped me out last minute and took very good care of my big Baby!

Information Ashley T. would like to know about your pet
Please provide me with any medical information, or any medications that may need to to administered as a timely manor such as insulin for our diabetes babies. Please don’t hesitate or feel embarrassed to tell me about ANY major or minor behavior issues, such as aggression or alpha tendencies, as that would sway how I would play with them. For example, if we have an alpha dog mentality, playing tug-of-war would not be an option as it’s likely to increase aggression.
A typical day
Happy to provide 30 minutes walks, so long as the outside temperature isn’t excessively high for THEIR benefit. Playtime is essential, and minor training session for basic obedience can be discussed.
