Pet care experience
I’m Ashley. I’m active with dog rescue and have been a dog owner all my life. I love being outside enjoying the sunshine. I’ll make sure your little beastie has a fun walk and I’m happy to get to spend some time with them. Dogs are pure love wrapped in fur. I lost my special girl after 13 years, now I get my kicks walking other people’s babies. I’m always willing to come by for a meet and greet prior to a sitting job as well. Ask any questions you like, I’m here to help. If you have a special dog that needs time and patience, I’m always willing to work with their needs. I hope to see you and your best friend very soon!

I have a very safe apartment and a great neighborhood for walking with sidewalks and lots of green space. I NEVER take a dog out without it being leashed first and I prefer to use a slip lead that doesn’t put pressure on the esophagus but can’t come off accidentally. I find this also helps reduce pulling a lot. If you have a strong preference for a different leash, I’ll be happy to use that.

I like to find out what their schedule and temperament is like, when they like to eat and where. If they have a normal exercise/play routine, that’s great to know too. Medications or special diets of course!!
A typical day
I get up early every morning and take a walk. I alsohave some great spots that I can take your dog for a wilderness type experience if you like. There’s a great tail in Macarthur state park to stimulate their senses or I can take them out to the dog park if that’s what you prefer. Personally I don’t like dog parks, but I leave that to the owner’s discretion. I also love to play, snuggle, and dance with them. I try to keep their diet as basic and normals as possible while they are with me to reduce upset anxious tummies.

Availability
I work from home most of the time and I try to set my schedule to reflect the days I have to be in the office. I get up early and have a pretty quiet life so it’s a good spot for anxious dogs. I can keep your dog separate in a quiet room away from any other animals and stay with them most of the day. I try not to leave them more than a couple hours at a time max and love to snuggle at night if they are down with that. I really want them to be relaxed and feel safe while you’re away.
