Professional belly rubber!
Pet care experience
I grew up with a GSD mix, Basset Hound mix, Chow mix, and Irish Springer Spaniel mix (Quite the variety, I know!). I am looking forward to having dogs of my own one day, but in the meantime I have fostered 4 dogs and helped them find forever homes. I started providing services on Rover in 2020 and have absolutely loved meeting new people and their furry best friends! I am experienced with pets of all ages and am very comfortable with various energy levels and personalities.
Reviews
I can’t recommend Ashley enough! She did such an amazing job keeping our golden retriever, Finley. She’s great at communicating, gave him so much exercise, and went above and beyond to make sure he was getting the best care. You can tell she has such a love for dogs, and Finley warmed right up to her! I will definitely be using her services again!
Ashley was amazing at taking care of Coya, my chocolate lab! She regularly sent updates with photos and videos of them going for walks and of Coya playing with the other lovely dog Ashley was boarding that weekend. She was 100% responsive to my texts; I felt I could fully rely on her. I could tell Ashley was taking care of my dog with a lot of dedication and love, and I was able to relax and enjoy my weekend away thanks to that. I would definitely hire Ashley again!
Ashley was very responsive and took my dog as a last minute booking. All went smoothly and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. I would definitely have her dogsit again for us!
Ashley was wonderful! I don't have human children, so my dog is my child. Ashley understood my love for Ivy. I sent her a text to check on Ivy, Ashley sent me a picture and an update on how Ivy was doing. Ivy is very loved (some would say spoiled), sleeps on my bed, so she jumped on Ashley's bed and fell asleep. I apologized, but Ashley said it was no problem, Ivy was welcome to snooze in her bed. There is a park in front of Ashley's apartment, so Ivy was able to enjoy sniffing around and getting a bit of exercise. Our plans were last minute, because we weren't sure when we would be in town. We booked last minute. Ashley not only took the booking last minute, but allowed us to extend our time, gave us some places to see, and wished us a great time...told us not to worry about how long Ivy needed to stay. Thank you so much Ashley for taking such great care of Ivy, and allowing us to enjoy touring Seattle without worriyng about Ivy's safety and care!

Information Ashley S. would like to know about your pet
I may foster another dog or dog sit pets from two households at the same time, so please let me know if your pet is aggressive/selective before booking. Also please let me know if your pet has any food allergies.
A typical day
I tailor my day to your pet’s needs. For high energy pets, I enjoy taking them on runs with me (usually 1-3 miles) or going to the dog park in the mornings. This typically wears them out for a while so that I can get my work done. For lower energy pets, I take them for at least one long walk (1-2 miles) every day.

I am currently living with my parents while waiting to hear about a job opportunity. I work from home full-time and my dad is retired, so somebody will always be home with your pet!
