I am an animal lover with a passion for caretaking. I have over 16 years of experience with a large range of animals. I have had 5 cats, 1 dog, 3 gerbils, 1 snake, 1 leopard gecko, and 1 hamster. I have had a house full of animals since before I can remember, and I know how to feed, administer medicine, play, and care for your pet! I would be a great match for your pet needs! Two of my cats are seniors (16+) and are in great health! I am an owner of a pitbull-boxer mix who has just turned ten as well! However, my personal pets are not my only experience with animals. Starting from 2015 - 2018, I worked as a volunteer at a local animal rescue in my community. I fell in love with taking care of animals and even rescued one myself! Then, from 2017 - 2019, I transitioned to another animal rescue organization. Again, my love for animals got to me, and I ended up rescuing another cat! I have grown up with various animals throughout my life and I am a very experienced caretaker. I have had lots of experience pet-sitting for others. In fact, I have housed Pugs, Pit-bulls, Labs, German Shepards, and Maltese; and even fostered cats for a while! I am very comfortable with distributing medicine and adapting to any special needs your pet may have, as I have had experience through my senior animals. When I am not caring for animals, I work part time as a Registered Behavior Technician for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Between my work life and my personal life, it is quite obvious that I have a passion for caretaking. I am currently a second-year student at the University of Florida studying Psychology with an emphasis on Behavioral Analysis and minoring in Disabilities in Society! I am on track to graduate next year! There is no animal that I would not treat as my own. In my house, it is quite normal to stop on the side of the road to rescue a turtle trying to cross.
