Pet care experience
Former animal shelter volunteer, doggie foster mom, and lifelong cat owner. I am a trusting and reliable animal lover and sitter. I have worked with senior dogs to puppies of varying breeds and sizes. I also have experience with different temperaments, blindness, deafness, and shy and energetic dogs. I’ve also had cats all my life and am able to check-in on your furry loved ones while you are away. Whether morning, during lunch, or in the evenings I’m available to stop in for walks and check-ins to feed, change litter, or play and give some love to your critters.

This was our first time with a "stranger" watching our boys, so we were worried about how they would do. Ashley was great and kept in communication with us even though we were out of the country and Thor did snuggle up with her after a couple days...that's how we knew our boys were in good hands. One old, on kibble and meds, the other young, on a raw diet and untrusting of strangers...she did well with them both!
Ashley is a front desk and dog care volunteer at Centre County PAWS, an animal shelter I manage. She is wonderful with people and animals alike. She has adopted a kitty from PAWS, and spends at least one day per week working a volunteer shift. She has learned to work with some of our most particular and difficult dogs and is excellent at following protocol.

A typical day
I love to play with your animals by engaging in their favorite activities, whether that’s going for walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, playing with cat toys or just lazing around and giving some pets.

Availability
I work remotely and am able to stop in mornings, lunch time, and evenings. I work Monday -Friday 8am-5pm but have a generally flexible schedule.
