Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a recent FSU graduate currently living in the soho Tampa area!! I’ve had many pets, including a dog and a cat, as well as reptiles. I absolutely love big dogs, and had a german shepherd mix for over 14 years. Because my schedule is pretty flexible, I’m pretty open to any opportunities. I’d like to think that I’m a good pet owner, and would be sure to give your pup lots of love and care! I love walking pets and spending quality time with them, and making sure they’re happy and healthy. I studied biology in college, and animals are a passion of mine. I go on runs/walks often, so I love opportunities to take our furry friends to the park. Please let me know if you have any questions :)

Ashely is very sweet and caring. In her bio it mentioned she loved big dogs and I was hoping she would be willing to take in my maltipoo, Leo (9lbs). She opened her place to my fur baby and was very accommodating and flexible with pick up and drop off. She gave Leo so much love and attention. He immediately took to her and seemed comfortable with her instantly. She also made sure to keep in contact with me if there were any concerns and sent me plenty of pictures while I was on vacation. I was most confident Leo was in great hands with Ashely. Overall, I would recommend Ashley for any of my future pet needs, I trust her hands down. Thank you so much Ashley!!

Ashley is truly an animal lover. She has cared for her pets since she was very young and not only loves animals but enjoys taking care of them. As a young girl Ashley would play guitar and sign to her young dog to calm him down! I think she will be an excellent dog sitter!!

We live in a 2BR apartment that is in a safe neighborhood near an elementary school. Our complex has a doggie area right below our unit, and we have ample sidewalks to use for long walks!

I’d just like to know their age, temperament, breed, etc so I know what to expect! We don’t get out often, but if your doggie doesn’t do well in cars or you aren’t comfortable with us bringing them on small excursions (dog park, state parks, beach, etc) just let me know :)
A typical day
On the days I am off, I will spend all day with your puppet! I spend a lot of time studying on my off days, so we usually have chill mornings around the house. I love playing with dogs and spending a lot of quality time with them, so the park near my house is a favorite spot. On the 3 days a week I work, I am able to come home midday for a potty break and walk. Then, my roommate usually gets home before me at 5pm and is able to spend quality time with the pupper until I’m off :)

Availability
I work in healthcare (3 12hr shifts a week) so I usually have 3-4day stretches of consecutive days off each week. On the days that I do work, I am able to go home for midday potty breaks if needed. My amazing roommate is also always able to help as well, and she is home at around 5pm each day. So your little one shouldn’t be alone for any long stretches of time :)
