Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Ashley! I've grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have two of my own, Casper (a beagle mix) and Saria (an Alaskan Klee Kai). Additionally I have worked in and managed in the pet care industry for the past five years. I can happily walk, feed (incl. handfeeding for those picky pups), medicate, love on and generally spoil your dogs when you are not able to. I have become familiar with most breeds from tiny to giant, and have a clear understanding of dog body language. If you have multiple dogs I'm the sitter for you, as I have also worked in dog daycares and am completely comfortable supervising several dogs interacting together. I love all sizes and breeds of all ages. Please make me aware of any behavioral or health issues beforehand so I know what to expect (ex: storm anxiety, separation anxiety, territorial of your house or their toys/food, daily medications, leash reactive, friendly with other dogs nearby etc.). I have no problem with these sorts of things, but would appreciate the information ahead of time.
A typical day
I walk every dog I take care of. Please understand the differences in my rates apply to what sort of physical activity your dog needs. Your fur baby and I can enjoy neighborhood walks (for the less adventurous or senior dog) during a DROP IN VISIT, or we can take a trip to a nearby park which I consider DOG WALKING. The higher rate allows us to spend more than the allotted 30 min together so that we are able to drive to and from the park. I will plan our time together based on your dogs' own wants and needs.
