I love animals! The energy and excitement an animal has when they see you is contagious and I thoroughly enjoy it. Especially the different personalities and traits that each animal has. It makes them unique and fun in their own way. I’ve spent a lot of time making sure that pups get the love that they need. I have volunteered at a shelter before, walking dogs and cleaning kennels. Most of my experience has been through Rover on a professional level. I have taken care of many dogs that have anxiety, special diets, and that take medication. I grew up with animals, but over the past few years I have been rescuing bunnies. So I am very involved in my community with getting bunnies, fostering them short term, and re-homing them. I also transport injured wild animals to a wildlife rehabilitator I work with in Graham, WA. I also help people in the community by connecting them to these resources. I am naturally an animal person, some shy animals at the dog park often let me pet them and interact. This can surprise owners at times, but I do have a special skill with animals that comes naturally. I am very outgoing and love to meet new people and animals in my community. You often find me at the park doing just that! Although I’ll be the primary caregiver for your pup, I also have a 6 year old daughter. For years we frequented dog parks before owning a dog so she could understand how dogs behave. She has also learned how to read their body language. She is a wonderful helper, but doesn't take on much of the responsibility. She like to hold a leash when we are going for walks, and she loves to play with the dogs we care for. She also loves to give pets and cuddle. She takes after her mother and loves animals, giving lots of affection if the dog receives it well. I offer a great experience for the dog and the owner. With my daily updates and photos the owner will feel comfortable and connected having their dog in my care. Dogs that are repeat clients always are excited to come back and are very happy when they go home. A pleasant experience altogether. I am also very thorough when boarding a dog. I always offer a meet and greet and ask the essential questions to understand the dog’s individual needs. I live in Factoria - Bellevue, WA. My home is an apartment with areas for going potty. I do take my dog and any dogs in my care out on a leash to areas in the neighborhood to go potty. This could be on the property or off a trail. Some dogs prefer grass to go potty, and some don't mind. I always make sure to find a suitable area for them to do their business. I love that there are lots of accessible trails and sidewalks. I live in a busy area, but my home is up on a hill and very quiet.
