I have over a decade of experience caring for dogs and knowledge of dog behavior. I actively compete in dog sports and am a dog trainer. I'm happy to stick with whatever schedule you have so your dog has minimal stress. Our backyard is securely fenced in, with a patio for relaxing when the weather is nice. We have plenty of space for walks and playing. I only accept one dog (or two from one household) so I can provide individualized care. This is my job so I take it seriously, and am licensed and insured. Please take comfort in knowing that your dog is being cared for by a professional that is home with them. My husband also works from home so your dog will not be left alone for more than a short time.

Our Golden Retriever, Raya, was pretty anxious/stressed during her week-long stay at a larger boarding facility in 2022. So this year, we looked for a dog sitter who could give her more personal attention, and we totally lucked out in finding Ashley. She was WONDERFUL with Raya. Each day she sent us a photo/update from their activities. The property is perfect for walks and playing in the yard, so our energetic pup got a lot of exercise (as she is used to). Raya clearly felt at ease with Ashley from the get-go, and came home happy and stress-free. Very thankful to have someone we can trust who genuinely cares about our dog's individual needs and well being. Absolutely recommend!!
Sasha stayed with Ashley for 2 nights and I didn’t worry about her because I knew Ashley would take great care of her! Sasha came home happy and tired from all of the fun and attention that was lavished on her! ❤️❤️ What more could a pet parent ask for? Ashley is the best! 🐶🐶😋

I highly recommend Ashley for your boarding/dog needs. She is professional, down to earth, timely, communicative and passionate about the care of your dog. She explained her process, and what to expect during his stay. During our pups stay, she sent us photos and updates throughout the day to ease our mind of how he was doing. She went above and beyond our expectations of care and communication. Our pup came home happy and enjoyed his stay with Ashley. Happy we found someone so trustworthy and caring to watch our boy. Can’t wait to use her again in the future ?

I'm glad to watch dogs of any kind. I don’t breed discriminate! I have high energy working Dobermans. If your dog is dog-selective and doesn’t want to play with other dogs, it’s no problem. Dogs must be crate trained or used to being gated/contained for safety reasons (ie. while they eat and sleep). This is not for extended times but for times when we have to leave, sleep, etc. If there is a question regarding this or a special circumstance please let me know. Your dog must be up-to-date on vaccines and flea/tick medication. I’d love to know what your dog likes- whether it be walks, cuddling on the couch, or showing me his/her tricks! Think of me as the “fun aunt”- I want your dog to come here excited, happy, have blast, and go home tired.
A typical day
I’m home full time with a securely fenced yard and acreage so your dog will have plenty of time to exercise or lounge. Everyone tells me their dog comes home good and tired! We play fetch, play tug, walk or hike on our property or nearby, etc. Just let me know what your dog enjoys and expect picture updates from me!

Drop off and pickup times are *by appointment* so I am happy to arrange this via message. I typically do not schedule drop off/pickups after 7pm. I ask that you respect this is our home and to please be on time for your scheduled drop off/pickup time.
