We requested Ashley house sit our puppies over the 4th. It started by her not coming to the house until 8pm on Friday and leaving at 8:15pm because the roofers were loud which I understand but I did request she be there at 6. She came back around 12am and left at 1am because she couldn’t sleep which I understand but is not what I requested with this service. Saturday she came over in the morning for awhile and things seemed to be getting better. Then I checked on the dogs at 1:30am and realized they had been left alone since 4:30pm. I messaged Ashley to ask what was going on. She stated she had to run out of town, 2.5 hours away and wouldn’t be there until 4am. She didn’t tell me she wasn’t there, I had to ask. Then she left at 9am because the dogs wouldn’t let her sleep. I left her a clear schedule that my 2 puppies are always up by 7am ready for breakfast and to start their day. Then Sunday she was in and out. Came over at 10pm for a last potty and didn’t even try to spend the night. I told her I understood but was requesting a discount as I paid for the house sitting service and she wasn’t providing that. I completely understand things happen and pop up but she never kept us informed and I would have never known she wasn’t at the house with my dogs if I hadn’t reached out to her and had cameras showing her not there. Needless to say, this was our worst rover experience and I can’t in good conscience recommend her to anyone. For drop in visits I’m sure she’s fine but do not recommend for extended stays.

I always hate to leave my pups! She was very kind and responsive, along with sending pics of them snuggling and having fun. Thank you so much for a great first experience with Rover. I would love to have her sit for my pups in my home anytime!
