Dog Sitting in a comfortable home!

Pet care experience

**PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS WHOLE SECTION BEFORE SENDING ME A REQUEST** I will always make sure that when I am taking care of a dog I do everything their owner would normally do for them. Besides of course the basic necessities of food, water, and being let outside to go to the bathroom, dogs need to go on walks to get their energy out, need to be talked to and petted to know that they're loved, and need a nice warm & comfy place to sleep. Most importantly, if there is ever an incident with your dog, I will not hesitate to contact you to make you aware of the situation. I feel it is important that dog sitters be honest with the dog's owner and communicate everything that goes on with the dog while it is in my care. I specialize in small dogs. I can take up to 2 small dogs per stay. Larger sized dogs, say over 50lbs, I prefer to only have one at a time because they are a little more to handle. They have to get along with my two dogs, one 6 year-old black lab mix and one 12 year-old golden retriever mix, both very relaxed. Take a minute to read some of my reviews and see how other owners have felt about their dog's stay with me! *CATS - I have 3 cats, 2 that come and go outside as they please and one that is inside all the time. They have all grown up around dogs and never bother or are bothered by them unless they are antagonized. If you know your dog really hates cats and will constantly chase and bark at them, this will not be a good place for them to stay. However, a lot of people say their dogs hate cats and then when they get around my cats the dog doesn't care at all, so if you're not sure the best way to figure it out is through a meet and greet. Also, sometimes dogs will eat the cat poop out of the litter box so that's something we have to watch out for. My house is located in the middle of a canyon that is filled with tall grass and brush. Therefore, my backyard and the area in which I will walk your dog does contain fleas. My pets have fleas so they track them into the house. However, there are simple precautionary measures can be taken to be sure your dog does not get any fleas during their stay at my house, including flea collars and/or flea medicine. About my YARD: It is fenced in, there is not much grass since it has all died just dirt. We do have a POOL, so be sure you are comfortable with having your dog be in a backyard with a pool.

One of the kindest souls to leave our dog with while we went away on trips. She also takes wonderful photographs for memories to look back on, years have gone by and I should have left a review when our dog was alive, but I am so grateful for people like Ashley to contribute to making Jasper's life so fulfilled.

Information Ashley S. would like to know about your pet

Is your dog an inside or outside dog? Is your dog house-trained? Does your dog bark a lot? Does your dog sleep outside, in the house, or in a crate? Does your dog get along with other dogs? (It must because I have 2 dogs) Will your dog try to run out the front door?

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I have either a small neighborhood full of cul-de-sacs, or in the privacy of the Peck Park Canyon behind my house. I can also drive the dogs to the coast and walk them along the paths over there if they are friendly with other dogs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Dogs sleep in the house either on the floor, on a blanket, or on their bed if you bring it for them. Or in their crate if that is where they sleep at home. Time I'll spend with your dog: Like I said, I work Monday through Friday from 12-5 but other than that I will always be home with your dog. My experience administering medication: Yes as long as the dog is used to receiving it and will not try to bite.
