I work from home for a non-profit doing digital marketing on a traditional 9-5, weekday schedule, so I’m available to walk before and after work (if not a walk during the day) to get screen breaks and movement, as well as some fresh air. I’m not trying to walk oodles and oodles of dogs at once or get rich. Truth is that I adore dogs - we’re talking audibly squealing when I see them from afar, dogsitting whenever I get the chance, regularly checking #tripawdsofinstagram just for fun kind of love. Between that and an enthusiasm to stay active while having a desk job, I reckon this is the perfect crux (that can also help with my student loans). Despite growing up with dogs my entire life (mainly pitbulls and labs, but also smaller breeds like pugs and Boston terriers), I haven't been able to have one for years and greatly miss having them around! I'd love, love, love to have a pooch of my very own someday soon (current lease doesn’t allow it). Until then, I crush on the canines of friends (and pretty much anyone else who will let me)! Warning, I will take selfies and hug your dog!
