Pet care experience
I spent much of my youth on my grandmother's goat dairy farm and have lived on a small hobby farm most of my life. I love animals and caring for them! I have had the pleasure of being a caretaker for a menagerie of animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, birds (parrots, chickens, and geese), rodents (hamsters and guinea pigs), rabbits, amphibians, reptiles, fish, goats, horses, and cows. I was involved in animal rescue, mainly dogs, for several years and still occasionally transport and temporarily foster. I have experience with a range of shapes, sizes, and ages of animals and have cared for special needs animals, such as dogs who are physically challenged or require special medications. Senior animals hold a special place in my heart, and I currently own a senior dog and horse. I have experience training animals using positive reinforcement methods and would be more than happy to continue honing any training or good habits you incorporate into your pet's normal routine.

Ashley was awesome! I left town for about a week to visit family for xmas and she checked in on my cat and house while I was gone. She drove to my house everyday in below freezing temperatures and snow to make sure toothless was fed, had water, company, and she even cleaned the litter box for me and kept my faucets dripping through the freeze so they didnt bust. Thank you so much! Her help definitely allowed me to visit with family without stress amd worry. I'll definitely be using her again.
Ashley communicated well and was easy to work with. She felt comfortable around my 4 poorly trained high energy dogs. I would definitely use her again.
Ashley is a wonderful pet sitter! She took care of my two cats while was out of town for a few days. Not only did she do what I had asked of her, but she also did other things like bringing in my mail and even scooped the litter box! (Which was above and beyond in my opinion!) She also offered to send me updates or pictures of my cats if I was concerned about them. Her rates are extremely reasonable and she is an excellent animal caretaker and lover. I would definitely go to Ashley again for pet sitting services!
Ashley is the best! She has taken care of my dogs for years. Ashley has a special connection with animals. They all love her. Ashley will do a great job caring for your animals.

I will be respectful in your home and honor your privacy and boundaries. I only access areas of the home necessary to care for your pet. I want your pet and you to be as comfortable as possible! Please note, Rover charges me a 20% fee per booking for using their program, so prices reflect this additional charge.

To best suit your pet's needs, please let me know your pet's habits, such as feeding and potty schedules, whether or not your pet it crate trained and/or leash trained, or any special medications your pet requires. Please be prepared to provide me with an emergency contact number and preferred veterinarian, in case of emergencies. I also prefer to do "meet-and-greet" sessions with new customers.

I will work with you to learn your pet's habits, such as favorite toys and walks, and will create a custom plan for taking care of your pet!

Availability
I am available any time most weekends and holidays. I work a full time job Monday through Friday and am available to help out with your pet(s) before 7:30 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m. during the week. Let's discuss your needs and create a custom plan that works for you and your pet(s)!
