Pet care experience
Hello! I am a graduate student who just moved back to the Flint area. I have been a pet sitter in Nashville for the last 3 years and would love to continue working with animals here. I am great with all animals and currently have 4 cats and a dog of my own. I have a very flexible schedule and can give your animal all the attention, almost all day, that he/she needs. All breeds, sizes, special needs, everything is welcome. About this sitter: Very kind and responsible young lady who wants to love your dog! I grew up with dogs and have had a slew of animals over the years, so have lots of experience, and have been professionally dog sitting for the three years. I have a very flexible schedule so can handle almost any request. I will be very respectful to your home and am happy to do anything else while you are away (water plants, bring in mail). I also absolutely love a reason to go on walks or hang out in the park!

I needed someone for my dad's pets while he was in the Hospital unexpectedly and I live 3 States away. Ashley was great. Able to start at a moment's notice and went far above and beyond for the fur-babies. Highly recommend her. Great service!
We stayed a couple of nights in Nashville and had Ashley watch our puppy while we did some things around town for a few hours each day. Our dog is a bit shy and timid around other dogs. The first day he was visibly shaken from the experience of being around so many other dogs; I believe she had about 5 other dogs over that day. We talked about his experience and what we could do to make the next stay more possitive. She kept him more secluded and gave him more one on one attention. She showed me that she really cares about not just the physical well being of the dogs she cares for but the mental well being as well. We would definitely recommend her and plan to use her for future trips to Nashville.

Information Ashley R. would like to know about your pet
I need to know up front if puppy is potty trained or likes to chew. I will still sit for puppy, but I need to know how to puppy prep. Also, I absolutely adore wrinkly dogs (Shar pai, bull dogs, pugs, etc.).
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I typically walk my Linus around the neighborhood. I live in a residential area and near a park. I am also quite fond of the Flushing nature walk. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Hopefully on the bed with me! Puppy is free to sleep wherever he chooses. Time I'll spend with your dog Depending on the day, I may be gone for a couple hours. I study from home, so I will be spending the majority of my time with your dog. Time I'll spend with your dog Depends on how far away you live and your needs. Typically I do 2 walks a day and hang out a bit, about an hour each. Time permitting, I will hang out longer, giving love and pretending to study. I can easily come more often if your dog needs more potty breaks or people time. I have been asked to do "staycations" before, where I literally live at your house while you are gone, and I'm fine with this as well. I also do hotel sitting for those of you who are traveling. I have been a pet owner most of my life and am generally a huge animal person. I have no formal training, just a lot of common sense and life experience. I have gone through obedience school with Linus, so am familiar with some training techniques. I have been a Rover sitter for 3 years and have come across all sorts of dogs!
