DOGS: I am a NorCal Boxer Rescue volunteer and foster mom. I’ve fostered 9 boxers for this wonderful rescue including a tripaw post amputation, 2 boxers with degenerative myelopathy- one was in a wheel chair, & plenty of seniors, which are my soft spot. They usually come needing a myriad of care so I’ve done diapers, medication administration & hospice care. I have fostered for Dachshunds & Friends and just finished fostering the cutest doxie boy, ever. I can’t wait to foster another sausage dog! I recently fostered a Siberian Husky PUPPY with Cerebellar Hypoplasia for Ruff Pack Refuge, based out of El Dorado Hills. She was immobile and required extensive rehab to help her experience a decent quality of life. CATS: I am a neo-nate/ bottle baby kitten foster mom for the Bradshaw/Sacramento shelter. Spring is synonymous with kittens around here so 5 little babies have passed through our home as late as this past month. I have raised 11 kittens, to date. Even if cats aren’t you’re thing, there’s nothing sweeter than raising a tiny kitten from birth. I feel so lucky that I get to hang out with dogs all day!
