Your pet's best friend
Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with five dogs and three cats (as well as horses and other animals), and I worked summers as a teen in a pet store caring for the animals (feeding, grooming, kennel cleaning, medicating, and walking). I currently have two cats who have more furniture and toys in the house than I do, and I'll be as dedicated and adoring to your furry children as I am to my own. As someone who travels and hires cat sitters regularly, I know how stressful it is to leave your pet with a stranger. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable and safe as if you were leaving your pet with your best friend. I'm a professional who understands that I will not be successful with Rover if you are not 100% satisfied, and I'm committed to making your animal's care as smooth as possible for you and for them.
Reviews
Ashley is perfect?. Considerate, responsible, and loving. My Buddy loves her. Do not hesitate to ask her to watch your buddy too.
Ashley is a capable and considerate dog care person. She took as much time to learn about Buddy and his eccentricities, double checking his requirements , and sharing her situation with me as in any serious babysitting interview. I received a thorough report from her at the end of the day.
Run, don’t walk, to book Ashley for any of her services!! She is a true animal lover and a lovely, responsible and attentive person. Her home is spacious and comfortable, and she quickly put my dog and I at ease when we met. There wasn’t a detail of instruction that was not noted and acted upon, and my dog was clearly happy and tired (that really good kind of tired) when I picked her up. A five hour stay included a walk to the park and a second walk around the block. The rover card we received was wonderful, as were the pics. Not only will I book her again, we can’t wait to book her again!! Thank you, Ashley!
Perfectly ontime and was very responsive to me and my little pup! I will sefinitely try to book Ashley again for future walks!

Information Ashley M. would like to know about your pet
I'll need to know how your dog feels about cats if you want me to dog sit your pet in my home. The dog and cats will be separated, but if my more mischievous cat gets out of the bedroom while I'm dog sitting, I'd like to know that your pup doesn't actively hate cats. It would also be great to introduce my cats to a cat-friendly dog. I'm always looking for new experiences to help them be as well adjusted as possible. A few other questions I have for you include: How does your dog react when crossing paths with another dog on the street? Is your dog comfortable at the dog park? Where do you take your dog for emergency medical situations? Does your dog have any dietary restrictions?
A typical day
I'm probably going to buy your dog their own toys and treats. Dogs need to play and be rewarded for good behavior often. I like teaching dogs new tricks (I recently taught my friend's dog to jump through a hoop), playing tug war and fetch, and sitting at outdoor cafes together. Also, there's an art gallery on the UES that allows pets that I'm dying to visit with your dog.
