I've always had a passion for animals ever since I can remember. In fact, I love animals so much that I decided to become a vegetarian and even volunteered at an ASPCA in high school. I've grown up with all sorts of animals, including various breeds of dogs. I've done tons of research in my free time about dogs because I wanted to better understand and care for them. I am a dog owner myself to an Australian Shepherd mix (Maya) who I rescued in 2012. I'm also a very active individual who loves to exercise, so I can happily take your fur baby for long walks and play lots of fetch and tug-of-war if that's what you want. I've also had some experience with older dogs and dogs who've gotten surgery so I can handle situations like that, as well. In fact when my dog had surgery last year and had to wear a cone on her head for a week, I carried her up 3 flights of stairs every time I took her out (she weighs approximately 50lb).
