Taking care of pets in their own environment allows for them to experience minimal stress and keep their schedules the same while you are away. I strive to keep them stress free while you are away and will work with whatever schedule is needed. Leaving your pets with someone else is always a stressful time and I want to help alleviate that stress by attending to your needs/wants for your pets.
Information Ashley M. would like to know about your pet
Before taking care of your animal I would need to know who your pet visits on a regular basis for any medical care in case of an emergency. When out in public, I would need to know whether or not your animal can be temperamental around people or other animals. Some animals have a preference towards small/big dogs, males/females, or kids/adults, and that is something I would need to be aware of to prevent any incidents that could occur.
A typical day
My dogs and I enjoy walking at McKay Park, Memorial Park, and the Katy Trail, but am open to any other trails/parks that your pet loves to walk. I have also been trained very well by my own pup to have a good strong arm for lots of tug-of-war and fetching sessions! I am used to being kept on my toes and open to any activities your pup likes to do on a daily basis!

Pet care experience
During my childhood my family has always had family pets, ranging from small pocket pets to cattle and horses. Growing up with such a variety of animals made me realize that working with animals could be my career and help take care of everyone else's animals as welI. I have worked in the veterinary field for 8 years as a veterinary assistant in a general practice and emegency setting. I currently have an 11year old Labrador mix, a 7 year old Labrador Mix, a 5 year old Goldendoodle and a 16 year old cat. Most of my kiddos are on medications/prescription diets and i know how worrisome it can be to leave them with someone else/have someone else care for them. I am confident with walking, medicating, and taking care of small and large breed animals of any age. I am capable of giving oral medications, injections, ear/eye medications, etc. I love meeting new animals to give lots of love, cuddles, and butt scratches!
