Hi my name is Ashley! I have 15 years of animal care and dog training experience. I am motivated, hardworking, and a genuine lover of all animals. Having a background of owning dogs throughout my life, providing pet care in a professional environment, as well as studying to be a LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician), I know the lengths you have to go to ensure the comfort and happiness for your pet. Had Ashley watch three of my dogs (my babies really as they are my family) and they loved her! She stayed in my house, and cared for my dogs for about a week while I was on vacation and I had absolutely no worries while I was gone (as a worry wart that was weird for me). She was very accessible, and constantly called me with updates and sent me pictures without me even having to ask. When we got home, my home was pristine and my dogs were better than when I left them. They even seem to miss her now that she is gone, will probably start having to have her come on weekends so my dogs can see her again. Ashley is definitely the best dog sitter in her area on Rover, so I would definitely recommend her.

Quality of care is the most important thing you worry about when trusting your pet with someone. Rest assured I will ask questions about their diet, medication, likes and dislikes. The experience that I have in animal care has provided me with extensive knowledge in creating an enriching experience for pets. Some dogs may love fetch, while others would rather do a scent work activity with a puzzle. Each pet is different and they may like different things. While they will definitely miss you while you are away, I will keep them busy with their favorite activities!

I would like to know about your fur babies before I meet them! Their likes and dislikes, as well as the the little things that every pet owner finds endearing about their pet. I have no breed preferences, I love all animals. I work with a lot of dogs that need to have a slow introduction to a new person, so we can set up a meet and great. I am comfortable administrating medications and taking care of animals that require additional care. Sharing little details like that about your pet will help me give them the best possible care.
A typical day
Mental stimulation is important for dogs. I can provide enrichment toys and exercises to make them more comfortable while you are away! I use positive reinforcement training. Rewarding good behaviors with treats (with owners permission) and praise. Rest assured I will treat your dog like my own.

I currently work Tuesday - Saturday. I can do drop in visits in the morning and in the evening with additional one on one enrichment time in the evening.
