I have had dogs my entire life, way past the years I can actually remember! I also have recused many animals (raccoons, squirrels, ducks, birds… the list goes on😆) I’m 27 now and I have had my Husky/Shepherd, Lilly, since she was 4 ½ weeks old. I rescued her, got her back to health and she is now 8! I own a company but my day to day operations can be done on my phone so I have a lot of extra time and would like to spend it doing something I enjoy… like taking care of your fur babies when you can’t be there! I’m responsible and very flexible. While animals might bring the most joy in my life, I am also a people person! I’m easy to talk to, friendly, and respectful. I have lived in the Wilmington area for 9 years and am very familiar with areas/roads/backstreets so you don’t have to worry about me getting lost or in a high traffic area when walking your furry family member!

Ashley was so great for agreeing to walk our Ellie girl while we took engagement photos. She was so patient with us and with her when we wanted ellie in pics and when we ran over time a little. She even had a photoshoot with ellie! Thank YOU Ashley for helping on a special day and for keeping our girl safe!

Let me start off by saying that I have never used a dog walker nor had a stranger watch my dogs in my home before. The idea made me uncomfortable but my husband and I had a situation where it couldn't be avoided. So...I checked Rover and found Ashley. I was STOKED to have found someone so close but I still didn't know her and that made me nervous. Nervous to have her enter my home, nervous to have her interact with my dogs without me there, nervous for her to walk them. (Maybe I'm just nervous by nature lol). Anyway, Ashley quickly put me at ease. During our meet and greet, the dogs loved her immediately. When the day of her visits came, she was SUPER awesome about texting me and asking questions and sending updates. My husband said when he came home the dogs were SO well behaved (indication that they were tired lol) and the home was just like we left it. I will definitely be using Ashley in the future!!
ASHLEY IS THE BEST DOG WALKER EVER!!! I had to wait a week before she could start walking Lacie, my Rottweiler, and Ashley was worth the wait hands down! Her communication is awesome, always keeping me updated and informed if there are any changes in scheduling (mostly due to the rainy weather!). She bonded instantly with Lacie and Lacie is always super excited when she knows Ashley has arrived for their walk. Ashley comes through the front door and takes over, jumping right in and helping me put on Lacie's harness while tempering Lacie's boundless energy. Ashley is so good with Lacie I just can't say enough wonderful things about her. She has about as much energy as Lacie(!), is very personable, kind and patient. She's the truly the best dog walker I've ever had:) We love her!

I am frequently available as I own a company and can work from my phone to get random tasks taken care of. Mainly phone calls or emails which don’t take up much time at all.
