Pet care experience
I grew up with a golden retriever & currently have 2 senior cats. I started by caring for cats & dogs of friends & family, then later branched out professionally. I have experience with guinea pigs & iguanas, as well. I am familiar with aggressive dogs, puppies, large dogs, and pets with anxiety. I tailor each job to fit the needs of both you & your pet. Each visit can include walks, food, treats, play, brushings, clean litter boxes, and administering medication. I have a diabetic cat so I’m familiar with injections, as well as pilling cats and dogs. I always make sure there is fresh water, especially during the warm months. I will pick up after your pet, water plants and get your mail, too. I like to send pictures/videos so you can see how much fun we’re having while you’re away. I pay attention to detail and am true to my word. Your pet's happiness is important to me and I will do everything I can to keep your baby safe. I treat all creatures with love and respect. I’m patient and persistent (ie when giving meds, saying no, dealing with anxiety behaviors). I adore every animal I meet, so I will love yours like my own. We felt very comfortable, leaving our pets with Ashley! She sent pictures every day, and they seem so content! Highly recommend her!!!
Ashley was absolutely amazing with my 2 rescue dogs. One of my rescued dog is very apprehensive of new people and she warmed up to Ashley immediately. Ashley took great care of my dogs, watered my plants and got my mail. She will definitely be our permanent sitter for now on
Ashley did a gray job taking care of our dogs over the weekend! She provided updates everyday with puctures and videos. Our fur babies were very well taken care of in our absence.
We have been working with Ashley for ~5 months now. She is amazing! Here is why: #1 She adores our 10-month-old dog Jet. It gives me peace of mind while I am at work knowing she takes really good care of him. She will refill his food container for us too, so thoughtful. #2 Months ago we were struggling with potty training, luckily Ashley was accommodating and was coming twice daily for potty breaks. She is now coming once per day to feed lunch, potty break & exercise. #3 She is reliable. I can count on her. She also goes above & beyond. For example, once I was stuck at work later on a Friday and with 1 hour's notice, she was able to let Jet out and feed him dinner. #4 She communicates very well in terms of scheduling conflicts or other things that come up. She lets me know if Jet's behavior is different. She also sends pictures of Jet during their visits. Without hesitation, I would recommend her for any pet-sitting needs.

When walking your dog, I keep an eye out for anything we may come across to avoid them eating anything harmful. Until I know your pet, I will keep them distanced from other people/animals during outings. At home, I’ll pick up pieces of toys and fish them out of their mouth if I have to. I make sure dog stays on leash, double check fence latches, secure doors, etc. I keep stuff out of reach on tables and I follow any special guidelines provided to me.

A typical day
We can go for walks around your neighborhood or I can take them to a nearby park. We can play fetch with a ball, tug-o-war with a favorite toy or just run around having fun. Each dog has their own interests so I do what they want to do. Some animals just want some cuddles instead of playing, so let me know what they like!
