Pet care experience
Kyle, Kona, Brewin, and I live in Paloma del Sol in Temecula. We moved to the area from San Diego in 2019. We have had Kona our Lab/Pitbull mix since November of 2013, she is - 10 years old, and Brewin our rescue Golden since October of 2018, and he is somewhere around 4 years old. We love taking our dogs with us wherever we may go, especially restaurants and breweries. Before getting our second dog Brewin, Kyle and I fostered 7 dogs for California Labs & More. We loved working with all of the dogs, each with their own unique personalities. They ranged in age from puppy to senior. Kona and Brewin are both friendly dogs that get along with most. Kona is getting a bit grumpier in her old age so we may encourage a meet and greet before any day care or boarding services. We look forward to meeting you and your pup & having them stay at Casa de Rolf! Boarding with us is never boring! That’s a promise!

Ashley and Kyle are awesome sitters! We left our pride and joy, Fry, with them while we attended a wedding and we received so many cute pictures and updates on our golden retriever. Their dogs Brewin and Kona are super friendly and lovable and will make your dog feel like you aren’t even gone (they will also make your dog tired if they’re young ??). We highly recommend Ashley and Kyle, and we look forward to booking with them again!

We have a one story home, so no steps for the pups or older dogs to worry about! We have a nice sized backyard that is mostly grass with a concrete pad & it is fenced. We have places for the dogs to lounge, and provide water inside & out. We also encourage you to bring your dogs crate so that they have a safe, familiar place to turn to when needed. We do allow our dogs on our furniture, but within reason. We set blankets out, and they know they are allowed on the blanketed portion, or are allowed up with an invite only. We appreciate if your dogs have similar manners when it comes to our furniture. If they do not, please let us know beforehand.

A typical day
We love to take the dogs for walks in our neighborhood & have tons of play time in the backyard! Most dogs love to play with our two & get their energy out that way, but we also love to throw the ball & interact with the dogs ourselves!

Availability
I’m currently working part-time & my husband is working from home most days. We try our best to accommodate all requests in between our schedules, and know if we do decide to move forward with a booking, your dog is getting our full attention as we do not like to book boardings or day care if we are both working. For this reason, we are not an ideal option for a long-term sitter situation. We update our calendar to be available when we are, this is not our full-time gig.
