My parents had dogs before I was born and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I was known around the neighborhood as the kid who could find a lost pet and would ride my bike for hours until I was successful! My love for dogs didn’t end there—I went on to work as a dog grooming assistant in high school and a bather and groomer throughout college. I also became certified in pet care and dog training, and have been a professional pet sitter for years. Not many other pet sitters can back up a passion for animals with the amount of training and experience I bring to the table! I have also fostered many dogs, volunteered at multiple shelters and am the proud mama to three dogs at home who LOVE other dogs and will help me keep your pup company while you’re away! The level of customer service I provide is unmatched—I keep the pup’s routine as consistent as possible and communicate regularly with texts, photos and videos throughout the day. My clients also know that I will happily answer any questions or concerns and always make myself available to them in that way. I am energetic, compassionate and responsible—three traits that are necessary as a top pet sitter! Currently I’m training for a 19.6 mile running and go running and walking every single day. Bringing a dog along with me is a win-win situation and I even have a special running lead for the more high-energy pups in my care! Taking my time to get to know each dog’s individual personality is key—and I make sure to observe them before determining the best approach. Nervous pups, aggressive pups, older pups, younger pups, I’ve seen it all and can adjust my care accordingly! I work Monday through Friday, but my schedule is flexible and I’m able to come home frequently throughout the day and can work from home several times a week, if need be. BOARDING POLICY: Boarding is a rolling 24-hour period unless otherwise agreed upon. This means if you drop off your pet at 9 am on Monday they must be picked up 9 am Tuesday for a one day charge. If pick up is after the 24 hour mark but less than 6 hours late you will be charged for late pick up which is $15 additional for the stay regardless of number of dogs. For example you drop your dog off at 9 am Monday and need to pick up at 2 pm Tuesday there will be an additional $15 added to your total. If the pick up is more than 6 hours after the 24 hour mark you will be charged for a one day daycare rate for ONE dog regardless of number of dogs staying. All of this is subject to agreement. If we discuss and I cannot meet at 24 hour mark or make an exception you will not be charged. Also if we have an agreed pick up time you must pick up your dog with in 30 min of that pick up time or there will be a late fee of $15 separate to the above fees. This is again subject to discretion and communication. I am very reasonable and understand emergencies, accidents, car trouble and traffic happen. If you are staying in contact with me and keeping me posted you will more than likely not receive a fee. These policies are in place so I can be available to everyone when they need me including my own pets and children. These policies may change at anytime. Thank you for understanding and communicating.
