Pet care experience
I love all animals. Growing up we always had dogs, cats, bunnies, a bird-my whole family loves animals. I began pet/house sitting over 10 years ago, and I understand how important it is for my pets to be taken care of when I'm away and to feel they are safe, getting their needs taken care of, and having fun! I want to be able to provide the same assurance while you are away on vacation, business, or any type of emergency. I’ve taken care of anxious pets, senior pets, pets with substantial medical needs, and about everything in between. I’m not afraid to ask questions to make sure that I have total clarity on each pets individual needs. I love updating you with photos and videos of our adventures on a walk, or if I’m staying at your home so you don’t feel so far away from your little love, I am grateful for the opportunity to work remotely, so I’m able to be present in the home all day/night with your pets!

Ashley was such a wonderful dog sitter while we were away for the weekend. Our fur baby has serious separation anxiety, and she went out of her way to make sure he was calm and at ease. She was warm, dependable, and an excellent communicator. Highly recommend!

We LOVE Ashley - she takes such good care of our boy and is truly such a wonderful person. She sends photos and videos, and keeps me updated with anything I might need to know while we are away. She also took amazing care of our house.
Ashley took great care of my dogs! She sent several pictures and videos while we were away which was much appreciated. Multiple packages were delivered ahead of schedule and she happily retrieved them along with the mail. Our return flight was later than expected and Ashley stayed longer to make sure the dogs were well taken care of. Unexpectedly, she also washed and changed the sheets and took the trash out before leaving. We had a great experience with Ashley.

I do like to know what your boundaries are for your pet inside the home and outside the home, as well as certain commands are that they’re familiar with. If there are things I should be aware of with food aggression, other animal aggression, this will help me know how to respond, redirect in various situations.

If the dog is potty trained, or if that is still a work in progress. How many times a day does the dog eat, or is he/she free fed? Any allergies or medications? Any bad habits of chewing or getting into things? Any food that gives the dog diarrhea? Any sneaky tricks your dog tries to play to get food? Does the dog like children or other animals? Dog parks yes or no? Storm anxiety?
A typical day
Around a neighborhood, and if the dog is socialized, a park! I love to play fetch and hide and seek! I find that once I play hide and seek and the dog loves it, the owners often pick that up as part of their play!

Availability
I work remotely for a non-profit, so I’m available during the day to be present to their needs, and for mid-day walks! Even when I’m house-sitting I make sure to prioritize a date night with my spouse, so I may be away for a few hours at dinner or a movie, but will always make sure all animals are cared for prior to stepping away!
