Pet care experience
Ive loved all living things all of my life, even the ones others usually didn't like. There is no 'bad' dog, just one in need of patience and understanding. I'm a firm believer in rewards, positive reinforcements and constant communication between dog and care taker. Im skilled in recognizing signs and behaviors in most dogs. I'm cooperative, flexible, responsible, understanding and a people person. I began by pet sitting for friends and neighbors and have since worked for 2 different doggy day cares, I still remember the names and temperments of hundreds of kiddos. I rescued a chihuahua and weened her out of her trauma and trust issues and she's like a whole new dog. I recently adopted a puppy and have raised and trained her.

If anything I was disappointed my dog was not more excited to see me when I came home. She had an absolute blast and so much fun with Ashley. Ashley kept me up-to-date with any concerns or fun moments that she had with Hermione. I look forward to having her hang out with my pup in the future.
Ashley was great with my FOUR dogs. We are having work done on the house with strange people in and out you can imagine my dogs were quite worked up. Ashley took it all in stride and gave my four dogs a much needed brisk walk. She was on time and gave appropriate feedback. I will definitely use Ashley again. She is on my short list.

A typical day
I'm experienced in caring for dogs with trauma, disabilities, and behavioral problems. I'm willing to go out of my comfort zone and am driven to meet needs of any level of difficulty. i take the time to understand a dogs wants and need to accommodate my approach. I can throw a ball for an hour if that's the demand the pet insists on and if their energy level requires, we will run together and I'll wear myself out for their good. If the kiddo is unsure, we can spend time slowly gaining trust with each other and understanding what activities fall in our comfort zone.
