Pet care experience
I get it. Life is busy. Your pet is home all day. You feel like you need some help. I'm here for you and your pet! Hello, I'm Ashley! :) I love and have taken care of all sorts of animals! Dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and insects. I have my own little zoo of rescue and special needs animals at home. But I can only house so many creatures at once, so I am reaching out to help you with yours! I am a certified Fitness Specialist, work with rehabilitating animals, and I have taken the Dog Emotion and Cognition course through Duke University. I absolutely love exercising outdoors, so getting some cardio in with your dog would be more than an honor!

I've known Ashley for a number of years. And during that time I have seen her become a very good animal handler, in general. She has a number of pets of her own, from a dog to a lizard companion, and she even knows how to tend to plants and gardens. She has a very gentle touch for other creatures, and I think she would make an absolutely wonderful dog caregiver!

I don't have any breed preferences. I've lived with big dogs, and worked with both big and small. I would like to meet and greet with your dog before we go for our first walk or before I start dropping in. I'd like for you to get to know me, and for me to get to know you; and also for them to get to know me, and me get to know them. I'd like to know if your dog is friendly with people, or with other dogs. Any special quirks you'd like to tell me about, I'd love to hear. If there are any specific ways you calm them down, if they get a treat after their walk, things of that nature.
A typical day
If you have a trail near by, you bet we'll find it! If there is nice scenery near by, we'll stop and enjoy it! If there's grass, we'll run through it! If your dog likes to run, I'll run with them! I'll throw the ball, I'll give them pets, and make sure they get water when they're panting. I'll talk to them too, I'm sure you know what I mean, haha! Your pet will have a friend in me!
