Flexible sitter that loves all pets
Pet care experience
Hello! I have owned all kind of animals throughout my entire life, including rabits, fish, hamsters, cats, and dogs. I’m a college student studying Biology Pre-Vet. I’ve also had previous dog walking and sitting experience as a Wag! Walker. I think that I have a true calling with pets. When I was just about 11 years old I would walk and care for my neighbors dog that was a huge Mastiff, and never thought anything of it. My mom always tells that story to people of how she almost had a heart attack when she saw my little self walking this giant dog. I love all dogs of all breeds and sizes! I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry friend as well!
Reviews
My cat had a urinary tract infection during the time of the house sit evidenced by blood in the bathtub where she had urinated and it dried out in little spots I noticed upon returning home. The litter box was not cleaned during the week of the house sit and was a probable reason for the cat not wanting to use it and to go to the bathtub instead. I gave in person instructions before the house sit on how to clean the litter box and what sort of signs to look for if there was an issue with the cat. I left directions on how to contact the vet as well as checked in multiple times during the stay asking about the cat and if there were any questions or anything going on. I was not notified of anything but rather informed things were going fine. I did not want to leave a review like this but rather report this to rover.com care that I did which included documentation from the vet. I had to pay over $300 in vet bills associated with issues with this stay and requested a reimbursement. Rover.com would not do this despite the vet writing "Lomez was seen on June 6, 2021 for a urinary tract infection that was likely stress induced. The owner reported being out of town and having a Rover come care for Lomez the few days prior to this visit. Large amounts of blood and white blood cells were noted on the urinalysis, however, no obvious bacteria was noted. With no obvious bacteria being present, it is more likely that the changes to Lomez’s schedule and potential environmental stressors were the cause of the urinary inflammation. Lomez had been doing very well and had not been seen for any health reasons in the 2 months prior to this event." I will not be using rover.com again and suggest people to look other places to watch over their pets.
I had to go out of town because of an emergency and Ashley visit my dog Luna, that's a very timid, nervous dog during all 4 days and she was really great taking care of her. Highly recommended!
Our dogs loved Ashley and she left our home in a pristine manner. Will definitely use her again in the future!
My dog loved her and we had all around great experience with Ashley. I highly recommend her! We'll be repeat customers!
