I have always loved dogs and I grew up caring for my family dog Junior up untilI moved out on my own. I also did some sitting for friends on multiple occasions. I am now a dog owner myself to my beautiful girl Josie.

Ashley was the best choice for our puppy, Honey. My fiancé and I haven’t been able to travel ever since we got Honey because she’s a high energy German Shepherd/ Jindo mix and she’s A LOT to handle. We wanted to attend a family reunion but couldn’t trust any friends or family to watch her while we were gone, but after searching for hours on Rover, Ashley seemed like a great choice due to the positive reviews and reasonable rates. She was very thoughtful and would provide pictures/updates every single day. She also has a cute dog named Josie, who is extremely sweet and playful, so that was an added bonus for us since Honey loves playing with other dogs. We met prior to the scheduled stay to ensure Honey and Josie got along, which really helped us feel more comfortable with leaving Honey for a few days. She was also super flexible with her schedule and was able to accommodate an extra day very last minute. This was our first time using Rover and we were so happy with the service Ashley provided :)
BEST DOGSITTER/HOUSESITTER EVER! Ashley is amazing, and worth every penny for the peace of mind you'll get when you hire her. She is reliable, trustworthy, punctual, kind, and she loves dogs of all kinds and all sizes. Large or small, gentle or rowdy, Ashley can handle it. She takes care of my 95lb energetic puppy, who listens to her better than he listens to me. With some sitters, you never know how much exercise your dog is getting. But Ashley takes him on outings, roller skates with him at the beach, hikes with him, and treats him with loving care. When I travel, I have total peace of mind because I know my puppy and my home are safe and sound with Ashley. She is a clear communicator, follows instructions, sends cute pics of my big baby, and leaves my home cleaner than I left it. What more could you ask for????
Ashley is an amazing dog walker and caretaker! She's taken care of my puppy Denim as if she were his own mom. Can't wait to use her again!!

I feed Josie twice a day. Depending on your pet and what they need and like I can always incorporate activities tailored to them. Of course lots of pets and cuddles will be provided! I work part time , but can bring smaller dogs with me to work. I am a nanny so we are always out and about and the park and both homes have yards to run around.

Let me know your dogs feeding and walking schedule. If they have any food allergies, or special needs that may need to be accommodated. Must get along with other dogs and children.
A typical day
Usually we will go for a morning walk around the neighborhood, come back and have breakfast. Then either skate down the beach for a nice good run and exercise. We usually do 6 miles. Depending on time , that will change to a run around in the park with the ball and or a nice hike at west ridge. Then Once they are nice and tired we will come back for some good rest and relaxation. Then I will head to work, I am able to bring dogs with me. Which is why I only allow one dog at a time. It’s ensures your dog has a much love and attention. We will continue the day with walks and backyard time. Then back home for a rest and cool down with dinner and a special treat. Josie sleeps in her bed , at night. Not in a crate. It’s a free roam household. I do have a extra bed if needed. However if you would like to bring your dogs bed, we have the room.

Availability
My dog Josie is a big and active dog. So we’re always out and about during the day whether going on a hike or skating around the neighborhood. There is also a large park a couple blocks away to run around and play. Pet care is already incorporated into my daily routine with Josie and it is no problem to add new baby to the mix.
