I am a 28 year old female new to the state of Maine! In August 2018 I moved from Harrisonburg, Va and I currently live in Glenburn, ME. I graduated from Virginia Tech in December 2015 with majors in Biology and Microbiology. Currently I am a Microbiologist at Puritan Medical Products. I have a tremendous love for animals and have grown up around dogs, cats, and cows my entire life. When I moved to Harrisonburg, I found myself in a no-pet apartment building. To supplement my dog caring urges, I volunteered at an animal shelter and spent time with my friends animals. I’m seeking to be an animal caretaker to not only take care of and love your four-legged family member in a time of need, but to also allow me to be around animals once again. Consider me to take care of your pet-I’ll love them as if they were my own. ALSO- my rates are very flexible. Currently Rover calculates 16$ per visit, but my rate that I charge everyone is 16$ per day. If you want to pay me more you can, and if you can’t afford 16$ a day, it can be worked out! Send me a message for more details! IF YOU HAVE A DOG THAT I DEEM AGGRESIVE: There will be an aggressive dog fee that I add on in the amount of $16 per day. When I walk my dog, I use a harness as I feel like it is the best way to control them. I prefer to use harnesses when walking dogs and have my own if you don’t use them. I like to take my dog on walks around the neighborhood and up to 3 mile hikes in the woods. I would care for your dog the same way of that is what you’re comfortable with

I would like a detailed schedule that includes feeding and walking times so that I may take care of your animal in a way that doesn’t disrupt their schedule. It’s also important to me that I’m notified of things that your animal likes or dislikes.
A typical day
Expect your pup to be thoroughly loved and tuckered out after a session with me. We’ll go on walks in your neighborhood, and if your comfortable with me transporting your dog, we’ll also walk the local nature trails.
