Why I love dog sitting After begging for a dog most of my life I finaly got my first dog Rocky, he was a total mutt and the best dog a kid could ask for, he was with us for 15 years and he's the reason I got into training, I started reading my 1st training books at age 12. I now have a vast library of dog behavior, training, care, and encyclopedias. Once I left for college I got 2 dogs of my own, a beagle/basset (she's currently 10) and a Doberman (since passed do to liver failure). I worked as a dog bather and trainer through college, then full time as a trainer after college, and then started my own part time training business in Oregon after starting a family. I apprenticed with 5 different trainers over the years, there will always be more to learn! I also worked with Oregon Dog Rescue as a foster parent and trainer. Meet my pets We currently have 2 girls, a Beagle/Basset x and a small Mastiff. About my yard We have a fairly large (for the area) flat grassy fenced yard.
