About Me: Hello, I'm Ashley and I am a veterinary technician at an animal hospital in Lexington while also in nursing school at Midlands Technical College. I have been a veterinary technician for about 8 years. Taking care of animals is a true passion of mine. I am pet first aid and CPR certified. I am also able to give oral and injectable medications.

This was our first experience with our animals being boarded in our home and not at a traditional boarding facility, and let me say, we will never go back! It was a leap of faith on our part to allow a stranger into our home, but after meeting Ashley and communicating with her for several days, we felt completely comfortable. And I'll say that during the trip she treated our home and pets with respect. From the very first texts, Ashley was responsive and kind. There was no doubt in our minds that she would take amazing care of our pets. She sent us updates, answered all of my texts, and sent us pictures. We could not have asked for a better experience. I am open to either playing with your fur baby in your yard or walking them around your neighborhood. If there is a dog park close by and with your permission, I can take them to play with other dogs. I frequent the river walk so that can always be an option as well if you are close to the area!

I am open to taking care of any dog breed or size. My dog Emma suffers from separation anxiety and is very timid when first meeting a new person, so I have a lot of experience dealing with dogs that have separation anxiety or timidness. I am also very open to taking care of cats and pretty much any other animals (small pets, horses, etc.)!
A typical day
I love hiking and being outdoors. With your permission I can also take your furry friend to one of the local dog parks or walking trails!

I currently work Mondays-Thursdays from 8am-6pm and I am in nursing school. I am taking classes virtually for right now so I am home and available most of the time on Fridays-Sundays.
