Oh god, it's been a long time since I was on Rover! This review is very overdue, but so easy for me to recall how great Ashley and Brian were with my pug. I happened to find Rover on a whim after driving to DC (also on a whim) and having my hotel request $200+ to accommodate my dog--which, no matter, because who wants to leave their dog alone in an empty hotel room from morning until night (with no one to walk them, feed them, interact with, etc)? The hotel certainly wasn't going to do all of that for my dog, even at the price they were charging. After a few convos with other dog sitters via Rover, I picked Ashley/Brian because they were the most laid-back. Chatted with them about my dog's routine/personality, and they even welcomed me into their home (nice, quiet neighborhood) and gave some advice about visiting DC. They did a great job alleviating my nervousness about leaving my dog with total strangers and also checked in with me while I was out and about. I was floored at how smooth everything went, from drop-off to pick-up. It was amazing and my dog was just fine. :-) Will definitely use them again if I'm in the area. Thanks so much for taking good care of my dog!

Cody had a rough go of it with separation anxiety. He tore up some carpet and messed on Brian and Ashley’s couch, but I’m truly appreciative of how they handled everything while I was thousands of miles away. We talked right away and brainstormed ways to make Cody more comfortable for the rest of his stay. Ashley was an exceptionally gracious host, and I’m thankful for her patience and compassion with Cody’s behavior during the stay. We worked though the issues and Cody came home happy and tired.
