I grew up with German Shepherds and no matter how large a dog is, boarding them or dropping them off for daycare can be unsettling (for them and you) especially at kennels/larger boarding/daycare facilities where you don't really know what kind of care your animal will be receiving. I have my own private pet care company which I take very seriously. Doggy daycare and boarding are in my home :) My downtown home is in a super convenient location just below 14th street in the village so it's very accessible should you want to take the train. Within a 1-7 minute walk from almost every train. My large studio apartment has no pets or children just my animal loving husband. I live in a safe, boutique ELEVATOR building that is dog and pet friendly. I am also close to Tompkins Square Park and Washington Square Park.
