Pet care experience
I am a full-time dog mom and for many friends and family, I am their most trusted dog parent. I have knowledge in puppy training, crate-training, dog play, and dog stimulation (puzzles, lick-mats, etc) I have experience with a variety of sizes and ages. I have experience administering medication. I currently have a 3 yr old, 90-lb Goldendoodle named Waffle. He does well with all dogs. His temperament and good behavior is the best example of my training experience and dog knowledge. He does best with puppies since he is a great teacher for healthy play. I have puppy fostering experience from Deity Animal Rescue where I was able to crate train and potty train before finding the pup her forever home.
Reviews
We’ve used Ashley as our dog sitter twice now and will continue to use her over and over again! She is extremely patient and sweet with dogs, and we completely trust her with our 9 month old puppy. Our pup has major separation anxiety which makes it very difficult to leave him, but I know when he is with Ashley, he is in great hands. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to animals in general and we so happy we have someone we trust to watch our dog. I highly recommend using Ashley for all of your dog sitting needs! Your dog will thank you!
Ashley would make an amazing care giver for your pets. She loves to be around both cats and dogs and treats them with great kindness. I always feel comfortable and relaxed when she’s watching my dogs because I know she’s very responsible and reliable. You will not regret booking with her I promise you that.
If you’re looking for a trust worthy dog sitter, Ashley has the experience and patience to take care of your pet. She also has a dog named Waffle that is friendly with everyone and gets along very well with other dogs. You can depend on Ashley to take care of your pet as she is a very kind hearted and knowledgeable dog lover.
If you are looking for an excellent pet sitter who will truly care for your pet, please call Ashley. I love my dog as if they were my child and going away is always stressful, especially when you need to trust that your pet will be cared for. Ashley gave me that peace of mind. I have a very high energy boxer puppy who is 3 months old. Ashley cared for my puppy as if it were her own. On the third time Ashley took care of my puppy she offered to socialize my puppy with her wonderful dog Waffle. This was a great learning experience for my puppy. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable when handling my puppy and her dog (Waffle). Ashley provided pictures of my dog so I could see him while I was gone - it was so nice!

Safety, trust & environment
I never leave dogs free to roam when they are unattended. I never have dogs off-leash. I use positive reinforcement such as treats and praise. I will ask for dog shoes if requests are made on hot days. If collars can be easily slipped off I will use a slip leash to ensure your dog is secured when walking. I have completed training courses using slip leashes, prong collars (for large dogs), and gentle leader collars. As for boarding, I have a fenced yard but will still only allow pets on a long line when outside. I will always separate dogs when eating. I never feed dogs human food. I will ask for dietary restrictions. I am willing to take special requests for solo dogs where Waffle will be looked after elsewhere.

Information Ashley G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what commands the dog knows so I may use those commands to my advantage and also for practice. I would also like to know what drives the dog such as play or food. Please let me know what bad habits to watch out for, such as scavenging or resource guarding. I would also like to know the dog's sensitivities and reactions. For example, sensitive to paw touching, sensitive to handling, and reaction to critters or cats. Please also list your main concerns when leaving your pet in the care of others or when they are alone. For example, my main concern is my dog ingesting a foreign object or eating something toxic since my dog is prone to that bad habit.
A typical day
I love parks, especially where there are large shaded areas. I do allow dogs to take in the scent of new places, I believe that provides a lot of mental stimulation. For the dogs in boarding or daycare, I will take them around the block with my bike to burn any excess energy.

Availability
I am a full-time environmental chemist in the city of Anaheim. I have a very flexible schedule so helping fellow dog parents and meeting new dogs is the main reason I have decided to open up my Rover account. I am available for drop-in visits and dog walking Monday-Friday. Boarding is only available during the weekends.
