Ashley was born an animal caregiver. If she sees an animal in need…any animal, she goes to the most extremes to make sure they are taken care of. She’s rescued a rat from a trap, took in a wild bird with an injured wing and set it flying free a week later and never hesitates to stop to any dog walking alone that may be lost. She’s the person who would rather sit with a dog all night at a party than hang out with the other humans. She understands the responsibilities and patience it takes to care for a dog. Even though they may not understand her, Ashley talks to animals to make them feel safer and loved. Anytime Ashley walks our German Shepard named Kardi Rae, she makes sure to take water and doggie bags for Kardi. Ashley walks on the sidewalk and never lets Kardi walk on the street without keeping her close with the leash. As much as Ashley loves dogs, I have never seen a dog who doesn’t love Ashley.
