Pet care experience
I've always had dogs in my life, currently have two older mini dachshunds. I have experience with dogs that need special care, and medicine administration. I've also fostered dogs Soni have experience in making dogs comfortable in a new environment. My dogs are also very used to new dogs coming to our home. I am very patient and caring with all the animals I care for. Dogs are not just pets, they are family.

Ashley's passion for all pets is unmatched. She has been fostering for a local rescue for quite some time and puts in nothing less than unconditional love and training into each and every dog that graces her home. I would trust Ashley with my pets long before a boarding facility.
Ashley has checked in on my dog Pugsley (65lb mutt) a number of times during weekend trips and once for a week long trip out of state. My pup is protective of food/treats and guards the home, but we worked out a system of using the garage door, outside time, and treats to decrease the protectiveness. I liked that she would text me pictures of my pup when she checked in on him so I didnt have to worry and she showed up when she said she would. Most importantly, my pup seemed like his typical self when we returned home.

I have a large yard, it is not fenced in but the dogs have fun running around on a leash. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed, I want them to be as comfortable as they can be. I have fostered dogs and know what it's like to help a dog in a new environment. It will be up to the owner of they would like their dog crated while I am away (as long as the dog is house trained, and not a chewer). I crate my 2 dogs while I am gone, they've just always been crate trained. I will spend plenty of time cuddling and playing with your dog according to their energy level and needs. My 2 dachshunds are both older and are mostly couch potatoes, they get along well with everyone.

A typical day
They can roam about the yard on a leash. Lots of toys for play time. Plenty of comfy blankets and pillows for them to snuggle in and take a nap. Scratches and belly rubs are always on the schedule.

Availability
I currently work full time in the evenings Monday - Friday. I do go home on lunch to let my dogs go potty outside, there will be no more than 4 hours that they will be left alone. I am very flexible with scheduling, just let me know what you're looking for!
