Hi I’m Ashley. I’ve been a dog owner for 11 years. I genuinely love dogs and treat any dog in my care like my own. I live across the street from the park so I spend lots of time there with my dog Karma.

I’ve gotten to know Ashley and her lovely doggie Karma for the better part of 11 years now. The bond, the love, and the care that I’ve seen over that time has totally eased my mind when Ashley has watched my dog Balto over 10 times spanning the last few years. I’ve never asked her to but she even sends pictures and videos of all the fun things they do! Balto always comes home happy, which is a true testament to the love that Ashley shows all pets. I honestly wished I still lived in the city because I truly miss having a dependable person like Ashley!

I live in a high rise apartment but directly across the street from the park, so lots of access to long walks and greenery. I’m very organized and an excellent communicator. In my home I have dogs beds, toys, and a kennel. In others home, I adapt to the persons preference and/or needs.

Ahead time it’s helpful for me to know your dog’s normal schedule/routine. Also, if the dog takes any medications, any fears I should know about (other dogs, bikes, hats, etc). Does your dog like lots of cuddling/attention or prefers to be a bit more independent.
A typical day
I live across the street from the park so I always let my dog go for longer walks. When the weather is nice I take a blanket, snacks, and toys outside so we can enjoy a longer stay. Also, sometimes I’ll walk down Central Park with my dog.

Availability
I currently have a hybrid work schedule where I mostly wfh, except 1 day a week. I go for long walks early in the morning, usually by 8am. During the afternoon, I take an hour break from work, and I wrap work around 6p daily. Currently my dog goes out 3x a day, typically on 45 minutes to an hour long walks in the morning and evening. My schedule is more flexible on weekends.
