Hey neighbour! I'm Ash! I've had pets my whole life, am the un-official sitter to most of my network and currently foster rescue dogs while they patiently wait to find their fur-ever home. I am constantly engaging with dogs who come from all walks of life (literally). Some have never worn a leash and we work on all our doggy basics, while others are super obedient and make me question who should be walking who. 😜 30 min-1 hr Walks: Stick to the neighbourhood/area (avoiding busy streets). 1 hr + Walks: Let's talk about trail walks and adventuring (dog + owner must be comfortable with the dog being in the car and destination can be discussed before hand).
Reviews
Ashley has been an excellent foster for our rescue dealing with separation anxiety, leash reactivity, resource guarding and more. She is patient, understanding and empathetic to our dogs who come from a life of never having been in a home or ever having worn a leash. She treats them as if she's adopted them and sets them up for success using structure and training to help them transition into a successful adoption! She is a strong handler and able to manage dogs of all shapes and sizes.

When your dog is with me, it is a 1-on-1 walk (exception: if you have multiple dogs). I always pick-up poop, bring yummy treats, and come prepared to work with your dog to correct behaviours. Training reinforcement is 24/7, and I am a firm believer that any opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

A typical day
I love to roam the neighbourhood of Henry Farms and Hoggs Hollow. There are so many parks, walking paths, and fields to enjoy (weather permitting, no one likes a muddy-buddy when they arrive home).

I currently work part-time and I also volunteer several hours a week at a dog rescue. My schedule is very open and flexible, but the more notice I can get the better. 😉
