Pet care experience
Hey there! I’m Ashley. I have over 15 years of experience caring for a variety of pets. From a young age I’ve had a spot in my heart for animals. I worked as a veterinary assistant caring for equine to small animal. I have experience in grooming and training. If needed I can administer medications and assist with training! I do a variety of activities with pets in my care to include dog parks, runs and swim trips! Dog walks range from 30-45 minutes but if your fur baby isn’t tired by the end we continue at no extra charge! I will take last minute requests and extensions if needed. Also I offer Military and Law Enforcment discounts! I understand the high demands of these careers and appreciate the sacrifice! I also offer deployment boarding! I look forward to caring for your fur baby!

In the summer of 2008, my ginger kitty Marmalade became very ill. My veterinarian diagnosed her with Fatty Liver Disease and began a treatment regimen with her at his office and during the night at his home, but to no avail. She wasn't getting any better. He referred me to another, more specialized animal clinic. After a couple of days at the second clinic, Marmalade was ready to come home but needed round-the-clock care. The veterinarian had inserted a tiny feeding tube into her stomach that came out her nose and was stapled to the top of her head. Every four hours, six times daily (and nightly!), Marmalade's tube had to be cleansed with a bit of water flushed through the tube via a syringe, followed by a 30-minute feeding process that involved forcing a special liquid diet through the tiny tube into her stomach. Medication to keep her stomach stable had to be added to the food as well. Then the tube had to be flushed again. This was truly a labor of love, as this was my last hope for getting Marmalade through this life-threatening illness. This created a very difficult situation for me because my work schedule was very non-standard. During a normal week, I worked two swing shifts, two day shifts, and a graveyard shift. I was gone a lot, and when I wasn't gone, I was most likely sleeping. Ashley was living in my home at the time, and took over Marmalade duty when I was not able. She faithfully got up in the middle of the night or dropped whatever she was doing during the day to ensure that my cat was properly cared for. Thanks to her TLC and faithful adherence to the feeding schedule, Marmalade eventually recovered and is in good health even now, eight years later.
I always use Ashley for my dog sitter. She is great with Suzy Q. My dog loves her because she goes above and beyond to make sure she's happy. I trust her and you should too.
