Pet care experience
I’ve had and cared for dogs my whole life. We grew up with our family dog, a yorkie named Cinny, and once I graduated from college, I got my own dog named Flynn. Throughout the years, I’ve fostered several dogs with different rescues in NYC and cared for many dogs through Rover. They’ve ranged in age from puppies to seniors, so I have experience with dogs of all energy types, as well as different sizes and needs (e.g., medication, crate-training, etc).

Ashley is the absolute best. This was my first time leaving Scout with someone outside of family so I was a little nervous, but immediately after meeting Ashley my nerves went away. She is such a fantastic communicator and is so attentive to pups she cares for. She sent photos of Scout every day we were away, and it was so obvious that Scout was having the best time! From walks in the park, hiking, playing with other dogs, going into work, enjoying a birthday party…. Ashley treated Scout like her own family and I know Ashley will have a special place in Scout’s heart (and ours!). Thank you so much Ashley and we can’t wait for Scout to stay with you and Flynn again!!
Ashley is the best sitter on Rover. Ashley was communicating with us very well and sending us so many photos! Maple had so much fun and outdoor activities! Thank you Ashley!
Ashley is amazing! I was kept well updated throughout the entire sit (several updates, photos & videos / day) and I was confident that my pup was in good hands. We would 100% trust her with our pup in the future and already have upcoming stays booked. ??
Ashley was absolutely amazing!! My dog had a really great time and was sad to leave. She was so great on updating me on their activities and sent lots of pictures during his stay. My dog needed some additional care and she was exceptional. I would highly recommend Ashley and definitely continue to book with her in the future!

A typical day
I live close to several dog parks, both open grass and fenced, which Flynn and I frequent during the day. I have many friends in the area that have friendly dogs, so we often arrange to do long walks by the water and around the neighborhood as well. As I mentioned before, I like doing dog-friendly activities on the weekends like long park playdates, hikes, outdoor dining, etc!

Availability
Since I have my own dog, Flynn, pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. Before going to work, I make sure that the dogs have a morning walk and breakfast. When I get back in the early afternoon, I take them out for another walk/potty break and make sure that the pups get all the love and attention they need. On the weekends, I like doing dog-friendly activities like long park playdates, hikes, outdoor dining, etc.
